Positive Vibes are Hard to Find

Positive Vibes are hard to find!
Man alive, Lockdown III is taking its toll on the old positivity isn't it!
So if you are starting to feel a deep love for your unwashed loungewear or Netflix has become your go to best friend take a wee gander over our 5 top tips for finding some positivity in your life...

1. Have yourself a Kitchen Disco
Turn up the dance tunes, rock to Queen or even have a tango with a family member! A wee bop to your favourite tunes will not only get you moving you may even have a good old laugh in the process!

2. Get an early night
I am a self confessed night owl...having a few hours peace to myself at night is bliss but it definitely effects how I feel the next day (coffee and sugar anyone?) So try going to bed an hour sooner and just see how it helps you feel the next day and if you don't have an extra spring in your step you may just be a natural exhausted pigeon and I send you sugar vibes to get you through!

3. Take a step on the WILD side
Now I know LD is seriously impacting our adventure opportunities but getting outside for your daily walk will be an ideal opportunity for a vibe booster. Take the time to spot something you've never noticed before or take a different route to spice things up a bit. Maybe even leave your technology at home and give yourself a screen free break!

4. Be mindful with your Social Media
Who do you follow on social media? The escapism of following someone else's life on Insta can sometimes be a blessing but don't fall in to the 'Insta Life' trap...no one ever posts the crap! How many influencers show you 5 washing baskets full of ironing? Do they tell you about the daily bickerings over who hasn't emptied the dishwasher AGAIN? And I'm sure as hell not going to see the parents crying in to their 4th cup of coffee of the day wishing is was gin because of the damn way we have to teach long multiplication these days but that doesn't mean it doesn't happen! Some days its ok to turn it off or unfollow the ones who make you feel less than ok about your life right now.

5.  If all else fails...self care
A phrase that gets banded around like confetti these days but an important one to remember...find the 'self care' that works for you! It might be a bath filled with luxurious bath oils whilst burning incense and getting into a deep meditative state however it may be binging on a Netflix series whilst binging on chocolate biscuits and crying in to a baileys - You do You baby so long as it gives you some time off and time to just be each to their own! And Ps one word - Bridgerton. You can thank me later!
